Homemade Pizza Dough

A Perfect Hands-On Activity That Is Not Only Fun But Delicious.

Ingredients: 
(Makes 4 individual pizzas) 
-2 to 2 1/2 cups of 
 All-Purpose Flour 
-1 cup of Warm Water 
-1 tbs. of Olive Oil 
-1 tbs. of Active Dry Yeast 
-1 tsp. of Salt 
-1 tbs. of Sugar
Step 1: Preheat oven to 420 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, add in your warm water. Add in combine your sugar and dry yeast. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes or until it becomes frothy and bubbles form.
Step 2: Add in the olive oil to the yeast mixture and stir gently. Add in 2 cups of flour and salt and mix with a spatula until well combined. You can add in more flour to the dough if it is too sticky.
Step 3: Transfer you dough onto a floured surface and knead until you get a smooth bowl. You can add in the extra 1/2 cup of flour if needed.
Step 4: Separate your dough into 4 sections and start rolling each dough ball into your desired shape.
Step 5: After rolling out the dough, use a fork to poke some holes in the crust to prevent air pockets from forming. Top your pizza off with some tomato sauce, cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, spinach, etc. 
Step 6: Bake your pizza for about 10-15 minutes in the oven. Once it's finished baking, let it cool for a few minutes so you don't burn yourself. Enjoy and have fun!
NOTES: 1. If you are not using my pizza sauce recipe, plain tomato paste works just as well
2. Make sure when baking, you keep in mind that the thickness of the crust effects how long you should bake for.
