Cheesy and Creamy
Ingredients: (serves 3-4 people)
-2/3 cup of Unsalted Butter
-1 cup of Heavy Cream
-2 cloves of garlic (minced)
-1/4 cup of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
-1/4 cup of Parmesan Cheese
-a drizzle of oil
-Salt and Pepper to taste
-Vegetables and/or Meat
(I used grilled chicken, peas, bell peppers, and grape tomatoes)
*Optional Ingredients*: Garlic Salt, Parsley
Step 1: In a medium sized saucepan, add in your minced garlic and cook fro about 1-2 minutes. Add in your butter and heavy cream. Melt the butter into the heavy cream and stir gently for a few minutes until the butter and cream are well incorporated.
Step 2: Add in your shredded mozzarella cheese and parmesan into the sauce pan and stir until the sauce becomes thick. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Once you cook your vegetables, add into the sauce and give it a quick mix before topping it onto the pasta of your choice. You can either mix the meat into the sauce as well or add it onto the sauce.
NOTES: 1.) If you are using vegetables such as carrots, peas, or broccoli that need to be cooked longer/steamed, here's an easy way to cook it. Fill a microwave safe bowl 3/4 of the way with water, add in the veggies, place a microwave safe plate/lid on top and microwave until soft.
2.) A good way to use up vegetables that you don't really like, cut it up into smaller pieces so that the flavor of it isn't as strong and the sauce can cover up the flavor. Ex. Works super well with bell peppers.

This cream pasta sauce recipe is very similar to fettuccine alfredo, but with a little bit of a twist. It's simple to make and you can add any extra vegetables and meat leftovers in your fridge you might have to it. Pair this dish with a salad or some bread sticks and you've got yourself a fancy and delicious meal!
